Cognivia

Ever heard of Cognivia? The natural phytoingredients from Nexira. We’ve started to see the ingredient be a part of more and more nootropics stacks. But what is it?

Components in Cognivia

Cognivia consists of Spanish Sage essential oil and Garden Sage leaf, or Salvia lavandulifolia and Salvia officinalis respectively. The mix also contains Arabic gum which ensure the durability of the product.

Why use it?

Cognivia is designed for increased cognitive performance, i.e. mental performance. Perfect if you are a student, gamers, or just need that extra focus. The product has also shown to improve both short-term and long-term memory.

The pending EFSA claim for the product says “helps maintaining optimal mental well-being, e g, maintaining concentration, attention and memory” another claim is “Helps to maintain memory with age decline and to preserve cognitive function” – so the product has been tested on both adults and young adults.

If you’re buying products with Cognivia you should make sure that the servings contain at least 400mg of the stack. Anything between 400 and 600mg is all good.

Have they done any tests on Cognivia?

Yes. The company Nexira has performed tests on the product and the latest one included a 28-days randomized, double blinded, placebo controlled clinical study on Cognivia – it was on 94 healthy people.

They used the COMPASS battery of cognitive tests which tests both long-term and short-term effect on concentration and memory.

What’s Spanish and Garden Sage?

Spanish sage is an evergreen schrub. You can find it naturally in Spain and Southern France. It’s been used for centuries in culinary medicine. Garden Sage is similar to Spanish Sage but have blue to purplish flowers 😊 It also has used in many cultures for medicine.

The combination of the is what Nexira claims to have synergistic effects which makes Cognivia better than the alternatives.

How to get it?

You can find Cognivia in different nootropics stacks and cognitive performance products. On our page only Nau Snse contains the ingredient. But you can also find the ingredient in other products. For example, Star Nutrition has a stack which contains it!
