Today’s review is a matchup against the two titans, Sneak vs GFUEL. Who will win? Buy your tickets (costs 5 minutes of reading time) right here! In this article we are going to try and objectively compare the two products in terms of Nutritional Value and Focus Complex. Also, we’ll jump into flavouring, even though flavouring is a highly subjective subject (pun intended).
Sneak vs GFUEL – Once and for all.
Let’s start with jumping into the ingredients. We’ll have a look at the vitamins, minerals, active ingredients and end it with looking at the bulk ingredients, such as fillers.
Vitamins in Sneak & Gfuel
The GFUEL formula contains Vitamin C, E, B3, B6, and B12 and Sneak Energy contains Vitamin C, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B7 and B12.
So, this is actually a big difference. Sneak focuses on making sure that all essential B vitamins are included in the product, whilst GFUEL have focused on a small amount that might be more popular vitamins from a marketing perspective.
Which is better then?
It really depends on what you need. Both blends can definitely give you a boost in energy and focus. It is though important to remember that you usually don’t get focused by consuming a lot of a specific vitamin, especially when talking about different B vitamins. What usually happens and what the most research points towards is that you feel fatigued and tired if you have deficiency in these vitamins, so making sure you consume them is very important – but over consuming won’t help you.
Here’s where the real comparison comes in. GFUEL has CRAMMED their product with the vitamins mentioned above. Ranging from 167% (B12) to 500% above RDI – which is the Recommended Daily Intake. In my opinion this is a complete waste. Like I said – most research point towards the fact that consuming too much doesn’t really help, and you can’t drink today to compensate for deficiency in a month from now.
At the same time, looking at Sneak’s formula, it’s the complete opposite! Way too little of each vitamins, roughly 10-15% of the recommended daily intake.
What’s the verdict regarding Vitamins?
I’ll say the Sneak Formula wins here. It covers more vitamins and even though in very small quantities we’d rather see a responsible label rather than a stacked label like Gfuel’s.
Let’s go over to the next topic.
So how about the energy complex, sneak vs gfuel…
Both products contain caffeine. Which basically is what you feel when you drink both Sneak and Gfuel. We have covered Gfuel energy complex more in detail before in this article but the summary is basically Gfuel’s Energy and Focus Complex is:
Taurine, L-Citruline Malate, Caffeine, Glucoronolactone, N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCI, Velvet Bean (Mucuna pruriens) Seed Extract, L-Tyrosine, N-Acetyl-Tyrosine, Adeonsine-5-Triphosphate Disodium Salt (ATP), Toothed Clubmoss Aerial Parts Extracts, Bacoba Lead Extract.
And Sneak’s Energy Complex is:
L-tyrosine, L-taurine, Choline Bitartrate, L-theanine, Caffeine and L-carnitine Tartrate.
When it comes to the Energy Complex, GFUEL is the winner on most fronts. If you choose Sneak over Gfuel for the energy, I’ll say that L-theanine is the ingredient that you are looking for then. Gfuel do not contain any L-theanine but Sneak has 100mg per serving. This ingredient works extremely well for focus, even though you actually would like 200mg per serving – hopefully something Sneak fixes in the future.
Both Sneak and GFUEL have more than one flavor. However not all flavors contain natural coloring. If this is important you need to look at the ingredient list for “natural flavour” or look at the actual coloring and see if it’s natural or not.
Also, both brands use Maltodextrin as a filler. The filler is there to make sure the serving size is big enough for a scoop. Maltodextrin is a starch with high GI-value but in small quantities this shouldn’t be something to worry about.
Alrighty guys, that’s it for this blog.

So Sneak vs Gfuel, which one to buy?
The two brands are so similar in so many ways so we are going to try and make this short. If you need L-theanine in your Energy Stack, then go for Sneak. If you don’t need that, go for Gfuel.
